TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRAIN TICKET RESERVATION

You hereby acknowledge and agree to Terms and Conditions of
Railway Passanger Transportation including Reservation Terms and comply
with the Terms and Conditions of Reservation, including Payment Terms
and comply all rules, restrictions on avaibility of fare and responsible
for all charges incurred from the use of the Railway Ticket Online
Reservation.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) reserves the right to amend,
adjust, add or remove any of the terms and conditions contained herein,
and / or modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Railway Ticket
Online Reservation. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is not required
to provide notice before entering any of the above changes and / or
modifications into the Railway Ticket Online Reservation.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) will use the personal
information you provide through this facility only for the purposes of
reservation and recording of our customer database including calculation
points for the Frequent Passenger Train program.

You are not permitted to use this facility for any unlawful or
prohibited purposes, including but not limited to illegal acts,
speculative, fake or fraudulent reservations or unauthorized reselling.
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) may cancel or terminate use of this
facility at any time without notice if suspected.
-
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) does not guarantee that Railway
Ticket Online Reservations will be error free, free of viruses or other
harmful elements.
-
The terms and conditions of this facility shall be governed and
construed in accordance with the internal regulations of PT Kereta Api
Indonesia (Persero) and the prevailing laws and regulations of the
Republic of Indonesia.
SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
- Starting from 18 May 2022, Passengers who have been the second dose of vaccinated or the third dose of vaccinated (booster) no longer needed to show negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Test result.
- Passengers who have been the first dose of vaccinated must show negative result of Rapid Antigen Test whose sample are taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative result of the RT PCR test valid for maximum period 3 x 24 hours before the departure as a requirement.
- Passengers with special health condition or comorbid diseases that that prevent them from receiving vaccinations are exempt from vaccination requirements, but must show negative result of Rapid Antigen Test whose sample are taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative result of the RT PCR whose sample were taken within 3x24 hours and attach letter of health condition from doctor in Goverment Hospitals.
Children under the age of 6 years;
- Not required to show vaccination certificate
- No longer need to show negative RT-PCR or Antigen Rapid Test result
- Allowed to travel with travel companions who have met the provision for vaccination and Covid-19 examination and apply strict health protocols.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
- The passenger is in a healthy condition do not suffer from flu, colds, coughs, loss of smell, diarrhea an fever
- Passengers are required to wear a 3 (Three) layer cloth mask or medical mask covering the nose and mouth. Mask must be worn from zone 1 (one), zone 2 (two) and zone (3) in the area of departure and arrival stations and when traveling on a train
- Passenger's body temperature is not more than 37,3-celsius degrees
- Passengers are required to apply and comply with medical protocol is to wear a mask, keeping the distance between the passenger and handwashing
- It is not permitted to speak in one direction or two directions by telephone or in-person while traveling
- Not allowed to eat and drink while traveling for less than 2 (two) hours, except for individuals who are obliged to consume medicines for treatment which, if not done, may endanger the safety and health of that person.
- Passengers are required to follow and obey the instructions of the officer, both while at the station and on the train
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Passengers who have obtained proof of transaction (SMS
notification, email notification, receipt of payment, or transaction
print-out from the counter) must check in starting from 7 days prior to
the scheduled departure of the train to get a boarding pass.
-
Boarding pass is issued by the Company to passengers as a document
to replace the ticket. Boarding Pass can be printed through Check In
Counter at the station starting from 7 days before train departure
schedule. Boarding Pass is only valid for transport from the departure
station to the destination station as stated in the Boarding Pass.
-
For train ticket reservations made through KAI Access mobile
application or official website of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero),
passenger can check in by issuing e-boarding pass through KAI Access
starting 2 hours before train departure schedule.
-
For passengers who lose their boarding pass on the train, if the
name on their ID card matches the one listed on the Passenger Manifest,
they are entitled to a document replacing the boarding pass and may
continue the trip at no charge.
-
Passengers who will take two or more trains or have a connecting
train should have sufficient time to get into the connecting train. PT
Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PT KAI, is not responsible for
passengers? failure in making the connecting train due to the late
arrival of the previous train and will not give any compensation. PT KAI
will only provide compensation in the form of refund for the ticket of
the connecting trains exclusive the booking fee if the previous train is
delayed for more than 3 hours.

All railway trips include all the area of the train are no
smoking, no e-cigarettes and no vapor smoking area. Any passenger caught
smoking or vaping on the train will be removed at the nearest stop.

Passengers who board the train are prohibited from:
-
Drinking alcohol.
-
Gambling.
-
Performing immoral deeds.
-
Carrying dangerous goods.
-
Carrying illegal goods .
-
Endangering and/or disturbing other passengers.
-
Sitting or sleeping on the gangway connection or on the floor of the train.
-
Endangering the railway trip.
Any passenger who violates the rules will not be allowed to board
the train and/or any passenger caught violating the rules on the train
will be removed from the train at the nearest stop.

Passengers with infectious diseases or by virtue of the laws are
subject to health (quarantine) regulations are not allowed to board the
train.
-
Pregnant travelers are allowed to take long-distance trains, provided that:
-
The pregnancy is between 14 and 28 weeks.
-
They are healthy.
-
The pregnancy is healthy and normal.
-
They are accompanied by at least one adult passenger.
-
Passengers aged 3 years or older are subject to adult rates and are entitled to seat numbers.
-
The first passanger under the age of 3 years (infant) from one
passenger with adult fare if not taking their own seats are free of
charge.
ONLINE RESERVATION
-
The Railway ticket online reservation facility is only valid for
Rail Trips listed in the Railway ticket online reservation system.
-
Reservation can be made starting from 90 days prior to the
departure date until 3 hours before train departure schedule. Payment
time limit for online ticket reservation is 60 minutes after booking
transaction. If within a period of 60 minutes is not paid, ticket and
booking code that has been ordered will become invalid.
-
Ticket reservation through KAI ACCESS can be made starting from
less than 3 hour until 1 hour before train departure schedule. Payment
time limit for online ticket reservation is 15 minutes after booking
transaction. If within a period of 15 minutes is not paid, ticket and
booking code that has been ordered will become invalid.
-
Make sure the travel and passenger data has been filled correctly.
For passengers aged 17 years or older must fill in the identity number
(KTP / SIM / Passport / Student ID) and for passenger under 17 years of
age who do not have an ID card can alternatively list their date of
birth with format (ddmmyyyy) example 07112003.
-
The Railway ticket payment proof will be issued after payment is
approved. Contains data that matches the ticket booking data, will be
sent to your e-mail address. Therefore, after making a reservation, you
should always check your email for booking data.
-
Payment can be made by using Visa and Master credit card or debit
card of several Banks listed in the system or through the ATM facility
of the Bank concerned.
-
If payment is to use Credit Card then the payment is only for
Credit Card owner or Credit Card owner must be part of the traveling
passengers. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has the right to refuse
passengers to travel if the name of the credit card owner is not
included in the list of passenger names.
FARE
-
Fare is the cost for one trip and inclusive of insurance coverage.
-
The applicable fare are in the range of the ceiling fare and floor
fare stipulated by the Board of Directors by virtue of the Regulations
of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia and are
subject to change within the range of the fares.
-
Fare presented consist of several different fare level and binding
on the seat number, passengers who make early reservations have the
discretion to select the desired fare level.
-
Specifically for long- and medium-distance trains assigned by the
Government (non-commercial trains), the fare are set by the Minister of
Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.
-
For long- and medium-distance trains, every passenger is entitled
to a seat number, except for short-distance trains (commuter rail) which
applies free seating.
-
All passengers are charged an adult fare, except for one passenger
under three years old who travels with one adult and with no seat.
-
PT KAI applies a reduction on the normal cost of tickets to senior
citizens, veteran, members of Indonesian Army/Police, and other parties
as stipulated by PT KAI.
-
Purchase of tickets with reduction can only be done at the station counters.
BAGGAGE
-
Each passenger is allowed a free allowance up to which s/he can
carry luggage with him/her in the cabin with a maximum weight of 20 kg
and a maximum volume of 100 dm3 (with a maximum dimension of 70 cm x 48
cm x 30 cm) and as many as four baggage items at no additional charge.
-
Baggage exceeding the weight/size limit referred to in point 1
with a maximum weight of 40 kg or a maximum volume of 200 dm3 (with a
maximum dimension of 70 cm x 48 cm x 60 cm) is allowed to be carried
into the cabin with additional charges or by buying an extra seat.
-
The charges for excess and overweight baggage are as follows:
-
Executive Class Train: IDR 10.000,-/kg
-
Business Class Train: IDR 6.000,-/kg
-
Economy Class Train: IDR 2.000,-/kg
-
Payment for excess and overweight baggage is made at the station.
-
Excess and/or overweight baggage as mentioned in point 2 is not
allowed to be carried into the cabin, unless the baggage is:
-
A folding bike or a regular bicycle packaged in such a way
that meets the maximum size or with its components unassembled.
-
A manual wheelchair, stroller, walking rod.
-
Certain sports equipment, musical instruments, and electronic
equipment deemed fit to be carried into the cabin with a size in
accordance with the regulation mentioned in point 2 can be carried into
the cabin by purchasing additional seats in accordance with the size and
number of items carried. When no additional seats are available, the
items cannot be carried into the cabin. During reservation for
additional seats for baggage, write down the passenger's name in the
?name? column and ?first baggage for first seat,? ?second baggage for
second seat,? and so on, on the ?identity? column.

Baggage is placed on the luggage racks above the seat or placed
elsewhere in such a way that it does not interfere with or endanger
other passengers and will not cause damage to the train.
-
The Company shall not be liable for damage and/or loss of
passenger?s baggage. Every passenger is required to keep watch of
his/her own luggage.
-
Damage to the train resulting from passenger?s baggage shall be
the responsibility of the passenger and the passenger shall be required
to pay compensation in the amount of the actual loss for the damage.
-
Items not allowed to be carried in baggage include :
-
Animals or Pets.
-
Narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.
-
Firearms and sharp weapons
-
Surving Boards.
-
Any flammable/explosive items.
-
Items that have an unpleasant odor, or because of its nature
can disrupt/damage the health and comfort of other passengers.
-
Items, which based on the officer?s considerations, cannot be carried in baggage due to their conditions and sizes.
-
Items prohibited by laws.
-
Passengers with excess or overweight baggage on the train who have
not obtained baggage documents will be subject to supplements with the
following rates:
-
Executive Class Train IDR 50.000,- / 5 kg
-
Commercial Economy/Business Class Train IDR 30.000,- / 5 kg
-
Non-Commercial Economy Class Train IDR 15.000,- / 5 kg
-
Baggage weight is rounded up at 5 kg.
BOARDING
-
All passengers over the age of 17 years are required to show their
official (original) ID card with a name that matches the name listed on
the boarding pass.
-
Proof of identity documents that can be used include Resident ID
Card, Driver?s License, Passport, Indonesian Military ID Card,
Indonesian Police ID Card, Student ID Card, and any other photo ID
cards.
-
Passengers with boarding pass indicating tariff reduction should show ID card that proves liability to the reduction.
-
Failure to show ID card with a name that matches that listed on
the tickets/boarding pass will cause the passengers to be denied access
to enter the station and board the train.
TRIP CANCELATION
-
Cancellation of trip upon the request of passengers is made at the
designated station counters no later than 30 minutes before the
scheduled departure time as listed on the boarding pass. Request for
cancellation less than 30 minutes before the train departure schedule
then no refunds.
-
Cancellation of a trip can be made by the passenger whose name is
listed on the boarding pass by showing the original ID card with a name
matching that on the boarding pass and submitting a copy of the ID card.
In the event that the cancellation applicant is a foreign tourist
then must attach a copy of Passport with the name corresponding to the
one shown on the Boarding Pass.

In the event that the cancellation is not made by the passenger
whose name is listed on the Boarding Pass, the applicant must attach a
stamped power of attorney signed by the person whose name is listed on
the Boarding Pass. The authorized representative shall also show his or
her original proof of identity document, the original proof of identity
document of the passenger holding the Boarding Pass, and submit a copy
of both proofs of identity documents.

A 25% cancellation fee is applied to the cost of the ticket, exclusive of the booking fee.
-
If more than one passenger cancels the boarding pass with the same
booking code, then a copy of proof of identity document of one of the
passengers and/or a power of attorney for cancellation will suffice.
-
The applicant fills in a two-copy cancellation form consisting of
boarding pass data and passenger?s data and notes on refund.
-
A copy of the cancellation form validated by the railway officer is
given to the applicant as proof to get refund, if the applicant opts to
get cash refund.
-
Refund is made on the thirtieth day after the cancellation by
transfer or in cash at designated stations. A list of stations at which
passengers can make refund in cash can be seen on poin (11).
-
Passengers who make cash refund 30 days after the cancellation
should submit a validated cancellation form and show original proof of
identity document that matches the identity listed on the form. If more
than one passenger is listed on the cancellation form, the refund can be
made by any of the passengers whose name is listed on the form.
-
If the cancellation form is lost, the applicant must attach a lost
item report from the Police when making cash refund at the counter.

The cancellation caused by operational reasons then the ticket
charge beyond the service charge and or discount is full refund.
SCHEDULE CHANGES

Schedule changes can be made for the following trains:

The same train on different departure days.
-
A different train with the same departure days.
-
A different train on different departure days.
-
Schedule changes are made at the station counter.
-
Schedule changes can only be made when new or substitute seats are still available.
-
Schedule changes are made no later than 60 minutes prior to the
scheduled departure of the train as listed on the passenger?s boarding
pass.
-
Administration fee 25% is applied, exclusive the booking fee.
-
If the new train?s ticket price is higher than the original train?s, passengers must pay the difference.
-
If the new train?s ticket price is lower than the original train?s, there is no refund for the difference.
